Does it require WooCommerce?
Section titled “Does it require WooCommerce?”Yes. WooCommerce must be installed and active, with a Local Pickup shipping method enabled.
When do the pickup fields show at checkout?
Section titled “When do the pickup fields show at checkout?”Only when the customer’s chosen shipping method is WooCommerce Local Pickup. For all other methods the fields stay hidden and are not required.
How are time slots generated?
Section titled “How are time slots generated?”From your weekly opening windows and the slot length. For example, a 09:00–12:00 window with a 30-minute slot length offers 09:00, 09:30, 10:00 and so on.
What stops a slot from being over-booked?
Section titled “What stops a slot from being over-booked?”Each slot has a capacity. Once the number of orders booked into a location + date + slot reaches that capacity, the slot is no longer offered.
What is lead time and booking horizon?
Section titled “What is lead time and booking horizon?”Lead time is the minimum notice before a slot can be booked, so slots too soon are hidden. Booking horizon is how far ahead a customer may book, so slots too far away are hidden. Together they define the bookable range.
Can I let customers pick only a location, without a time?
Section titled “Can I let customers pick only a location, without a time?”Yes. Turn off Require a time slot on the Pickup settings screen for location-only mode.
Does it create database tables?
Section titled “Does it create database tables?”No. Selections are stored as order meta, so there is nothing extra to maintain.
Does it handle timezones?
Section titled “Does it handle timezones?”Yes. Pickup is store-timezone aware and respects your WordPress date format.
Is it compatible with HPOS and the block checkout?
Section titled “Is it compatible with HPOS and the block checkout?”Yes. Pickup is compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and the Cart/Checkout Blocks.
