Registry Pro is the premium edition for Registry. It is an add-on that requires the free Registry plugin installed and active; it is distributed through Freemius (licensing, activation and automatic updates), not the WordPress.org directory.

Registry Pro extends the free gift registry flow. It does not work on its own. If the free plugin is missing, deactivated, or older than the required version, Registry Pro stays dormant and shows an admin notice instead of booting.

Shipping PRO features

• Owner purchase notifications — email the registry owner when a guest buys a gift from their list via OwnerNotifications, triggered on WooCommerce order status hooks. Toggle under WooCommerce → Registry Pro.
• Multiple registries per customer — run several registries side by side with separate event details and share links via MultipleRegistries and registry/max_registries_limit when enabled under WooCommerce → Registry Pro.
• Group gifting contributions — let guests chip in toward higher-value gifts with contribution tracking on the public registry page via GroupGifting and free group-gifting hooks on registry/contribution_*.
• Registry themes — branded public registry pages with theme presets, cover image and welcome message via RegistryThemes and free registry/theme / registry/public_hero hooks. Configure per registry under My Account → Gift Registries.
• Thank-you tracking — log who bought each gift and mark thank-you notes as sent via ThankYouTracking and the free registry/thankyou_purchase action. View under My Account → Gift Registries.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.5 or later
• PHP 8.1 or later
• WooCommerce 8.0 or later
• The free Registry plugin, version 0.1.4 or later, installed and active

Relationship with Registry

The free plugin provides gift registries with a public share page, purchase counting and theme/thank-you hooks. PRO adds owner notifications, multiple registries per customer, group gifting, registry themes and thank-you tracking.
