Nudge Pro
Nudge Pro is the planned premium edition for Nudge. It is an add-on that requires the free Nudge plugin installed and active; it is distributed through Freemius (licensing, activation and automatic updates), not the WordPress.org directory.
The 0.1.0 release is an early scaffold: it ships the licensing, bootstrap, activation and database-migration plumbing that the premium features will hook into. The features below are planned and not yet implemented.
Planned PRO features
Section titled “Planned PRO features”- Per-zone goals — different free-shipping thresholds and messages per shipping zone or country.
- Tiered rewards — multiple goals in one bar, e.g. free shipping at one tier and a gift at a higher tier.
- Gift thresholds — unlock a free gift or discount when the cart crosses a value, not only free shipping.
- Conversion analytics — report on how often the bar is shown, crossed and converted to a larger order.
What the scaffold does today
Section titled “What the scaffold does today”- Boots only after the free Nudge plugin has loaded and fired its boot action.
- Verifies the free plugin is present and meets the minimum version, with admin notices when it is not.
- Registers premium services and hooks into the free plugin’s container (registries are empty placeholders for now).
- Runs version-tracked PRO activation defaults and database migrations.
- Declares WooCommerce HPOS and Cart/Checkout Blocks compatibility.
- Integrates the Freemius SDK for licensing, activation UI and automatic updates.
Relationship with Nudge
Section titled “Relationship with Nudge”Nudge Pro extends the free Nudge plugin. The free plugin provides the core free-shipping progress bar with automatic or manual threshold; PRO adds per-zone goals, tiered rewards, gift thresholds and conversion analytics that growing stores ask for.
