Notice Pro
Notice Pro is the planned premium edition for Notice. It is an add-on that requires the free Notice plugin installed and active; it is distributed through Freemius (licensing, activation and automatic updates), not the WordPress.org directory.
The 0.1.0 release is an early scaffold: it ships the licensing, bootstrap and activation plumbing that the premium features will hook into. The features below are planned and not yet implemented.
Planned PRO features
Section titled “Planned PRO features”- Multiple bars - run several announcement bars at once with their own message, colours and schedule.
- Targeting rules - show a bar only on specific pages, products, categories or to specific visitor segments.
- A/B testing - compare two messages or CTAs and keep the one that converts better.
- Bar analytics - report on impressions, clicks and dismissals per bar.
What the scaffold does today
Section titled “What the scaffold does today”- Boots only after the free Notice plugin has loaded and fired its boot action.
- Verifies the free plugin is present and meets the minimum version, with admin notices when it is not.
- Registers premium services and hooks into the free plugin’s container (registries are empty placeholders for now).
- Runs version-tracked PRO activation defaults.
- Declares WooCommerce HPOS and Cart/Checkout Blocks compatibility.
- Integrates the Freemius SDK for licensing, activation UI and automatic updates.
Relationship with Notice
Section titled “Relationship with Notice”Notice Pro extends the free Notice plugin. The free plugin provides the core single announcement bar; PRO adds the multiple bars, targeting, A/B testing and analytics that growing stores ask for.
