Getting started

Most shops can show their first size guide in a few minutes. Build a chart once, assign it, pick the placement.

  • WordPress 6.5 or newer
  • WooCommerce active
  • PHP 8.1 or newer
  1. Install WooCommerce and make sure it is active.
  2. Install Sizer from the plugin directory (when live on WordPress.org) or upload the sizer folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
  3. Activate the plugin.

Open WooCommerce → Size Guides in wp-admin:

  • Create a chart — a simple labelled table of rows and columns; build it once and reuse it.
  • Display style — accessible <dialog> modal or an inline product tab.
  • Trigger style — button or text link.
  • Placement — after or before the add-to-cart button, in the product summary or meta area, or as a product tab.

Then assign the chart on a product (Product data → Size guide) or on a product category so every product in it inherits the chart.

  1. Open a product that has a chart assigned — the trigger (button or link) should appear in your chosen placement.
  2. Click the trigger — the chart should open in the accessible modal, or show inline if you picked the tab.
  3. Keyboard test — open the modal, tab through it, and close with Escape; focus should be managed correctly.
  4. Open a product with no chart — nothing should render.

Assign a chart to a product category and every product in it inherits the chart, unless the product has its own assignment.

The free edition covers reusable charts, per-product and per-category assignment, modal or product tab, and configurable trigger and placement.

Sizer PRO adds per-variation charts, unit switching (cm/inch), a “find my size” calculator, import/export and more — not the basic size guide.
