Trust Pro
Trust Pro is the planned premium edition for Trust. It is an add-on that requires the free Trust plugin installed and active; it is distributed through Freemius (licensing, activation and automatic updates), not the WordPress.org directory.
The 0.1.0 release is an early scaffold: it ships the licensing, bootstrap, activation and database-migration plumbing that the premium features will hook into. The features below are planned and not yet implemented.
Planned PRO features
Section titled “Planned PRO features”- Badge schedules - show seasonal or campaign badges (e.g. holiday guarantees) on a date range, then revert automatically.
- Per-product and per-category badge sets - tailor which badges appear to specific products or categories.
- A larger badge library - more bundled accreditation, payment and guarantee badges.
- Conversion analytics - measure how badge variants affect add-to-cart and checkout completion.
What the scaffold does today
Section titled “What the scaffold does today”- Boots only after the free Trust plugin has loaded and fired its boot action.
- Verifies the free plugin is present and meets the minimum version, with admin notices when it is not.
- Registers premium services and hooks into the free plugin’s container (registries are empty placeholders for now).
- Runs version-tracked PRO activation defaults and database migrations.
- Declares WooCommerce HPOS and Cart/Checkout Blocks compatibility.
- Integrates the Freemius SDK for licensing, activation UI and automatic updates.
Relationship with Trust
Section titled “Relationship with Trust”Trust Pro extends the free Trust plugin. The free plugin provides the core badge row and settings; PRO adds badge schedules, per-product sets, a larger library and conversion analytics that growing stores ask for.
