Estimate Pro

Estimate Pro is the planned premium edition for Estimate. It is an add-on that requires the free Estimate plugin installed and active; it is distributed through Freemius (licensing, activation and automatic updates), not the WordPress.org directory.

The 0.1.0 release is an early scaffold: it ships the licensing, bootstrap, activation and database-migration plumbing that the premium features will hook into. The features below are planned and not yet implemented.

Planned PRO features

  • Per-product quote rules - minimum quantities, custom fields and approval thresholds per product or category.
  • PDF quotes - generate a branded PDF quote and convert an accepted quote into a WooCommerce order.
  • Customer quote accounts - let returning B2B buyers see their past requests and re-order from a quote.
  • Follow-up and CRM hooks - reminder emails, status tracking and webhooks into your CRM.

What the scaffold does today

  • Boots only after the free Estimate plugin has loaded and fired its boot action.
  • Verifies the free plugin is present and meets the minimum version, with admin notices when it is not.
  • Registers premium services and hooks into the free plugin’s container (registries are empty placeholders for now).
  • Runs version-tracked PRO activation defaults and database migrations.
  • Declares WooCommerce HPOS and Cart/Checkout Blocks compatibility.
  • Integrates the Freemius SDK for licensing, activation UI and automatic updates.

Relationship with Estimate

Estimate Pro extends the free Estimate plugin. The free plugin provides the core quote-request flow; PRO adds per-product rules, PDF quotes, customer accounts and follow-up tooling that B2B and wholesale stores ask for.
