FAQ

Yes. Lookbook only runs when WooCommerce is active, and hotspots link to WooCommerce products.

Open the Lookbooks list and edit a lookbook; the ID is shown in the URL (post=123). Use it in the shortcode or block.

Each hotspot has an X and a Y value, both percentages from the top-left of the image (0–100). The editor shows a live preview so you can line markers up with the products in the photo.

What happens if a pinned product is deleted?

Section titled “What happens if a pinned product is deleted?”

That hotspot is simply skipped. Lookbook never renders a marker for a product that is gone or unpublished.

Can I show the price and an add-to-cart button?

Section titled “Can I show the price and an add-to-cart button?”

Yes. Both are toggles under WooCommerce → Lookbook, and you can customise the add-to-cart label.

Will it slow my pages down or shift the layout?

Section titled “Will it slow my pages down or shift the layout?”

No. The stylesheet and script load only on pages that actually render a lookbook, the script is deferred, and the image reserves its space, so there is no Cumulative Layout Shift.

No. Lookbook uses no jQuery, and its assets load only where a lookbook appears.

Can I use the same lookbook in more than one place?

Section titled “Can I use the same lookbook in more than one place?”

Yes. The same [lookbook id="N"] shortcode (or block) can be placed on any number of pages; each renders the same scene and hotspots.

Yes. Hotspot markers are real buttons — keyboard operable with screen-reader labels — and the pulsing marker style respects prefers-reduced-motion.

A Pro edition is planned for multiple images per lookbook, animation styles, video hotspots and analytics. The free edition is the complete shoppable-image product.
