Lookbook Pro is the premium edition for Lookbook. It is an add-on that requires the free Lookbook plugin installed and active; it is distributed through Freemius (licensing, activation and automatic updates), not the WordPress.org directory.
Shipping PRO features
Section titled “Shipping PRO features”- Marker accent colour, set a custom colour for lookbook hotspot markers from WooCommerce → Lookbook, hooked through
lookbook_sanitize_settingsviaMarkerAppearance. - Gallery in hotspot cards, display the WooCommerce product gallery as a swipeable slideshow (using scroll-snap) directly inside the product card on the storefront via
MultiImageHotspots. - Multiple shoppable scenes, add extra lookbook images with tab navigation and per-image hotspots on the storefront via
MultiImageScenesand the Scenes editor in admin.
Planned PRO features
Section titled “Planned PRO features”- Video hotspots, place markers on short video clips instead of static images.
- Click analytics, report on hotspot views and product clicks per lookbook.
What the plugin does today
Section titled “What the plugin does today”- Boots only after the free Lookbook plugin has loaded and fired its boot action.
- Verifies the free plugin is present and meets the minimum version, with admin notices when it is not.
- Registers
MarkerAppearance,MultiImageHotspots,MultiImageScenesandSceneEditorin the free plugin’s container. - Declares WooCommerce HPOS and Cart/Checkout Blocks compatibility.
- Integrates the Freemius SDK for licensing, activation UI and automatic updates.
Relationship with Lookbook
Section titled “Relationship with Lookbook”Lookbook Pro extends the free Lookbook plugin. The free plugin provides a single shoppable image with product hotspots; PRO adds marker accent colour, product galleries in hotspot cards, and multiple shoppable scenes per lookbook today, with video hotspots and analytics on the roadmap.
