Atesto Pro is the premium edition for Atesto. It is an add-on that requires the free Atesto plugin installed and active; it is distributed through Freemius (licensing, activation and automatic updates), not the WordPress.org directory.
Atesto Pro extends the free plugin’s notification feed, it does not work on its own. If the free plugin is missing, deactivated, or older than the required version, Atesto Pro stays dormant and shows an admin notice instead of booting.
Shipping PRO features
Section titled “Shipping PRO features”Atesto Pro is feature-complete at review popups. The current release ships one premium wedge:
- Recent-review popups - mix recent, approved product reviews into the social-proof rotation, e.g. “Maria reviewed Hoodie ★★★★★”, alongside the recent-sale popups from the free plugin.
- Privacy-safe - only a reviewer’s first name and the product name are ever shown, never the review text or email.
- Minimum-rating filter - only show reviews of N stars or more.
- Review window - configurable maximum review count and maximum review age.
- Cached feed - a transient means no extra queries on every page load.
- Real data only - built entirely on real WooCommerce review data; nothing is fabricated.
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”Open WooCommerce > Atesto Pro after activating the plugin:

The free Atesto settings under WooCommerce > Atesto still control corner, timing and the sales feed. PRO only appends review items through the proof/notifications filter.

Relationship with Atesto
Section titled “Relationship with Atesto”Atesto Pro extends the free Atesto plugin via the proof/notifications filter. The free plugin provides privacy-safe recent-sale popups from real orders; PRO adds recent-review popups to the same rotation for stores that want both sales and reviews as social proof. No further PRO wedges are planned beyond this release.
