Pickup Pro

Pickup Pro is the premium edition for Pickup. It is an add-on that requires the free Pickup plugin installed and active; it is distributed through Freemius (licensing, activation and automatic updates), not the WordPress.org directory.

Pickup Pro extends the free local pickup scheduler. It does not work on its own. If the free plugin is missing, deactivated, or older than the required version, Pickup Pro stays dormant and shows an admin notice instead of booting.

Shipping PRO features

  • Per-location slot capacity — override the global slot capacity limit for individual pickup locations via CapacityOverrides and the pickup/slot_capacity filter. Configure under WooCommerce → Pickup Capacity.
  • Slot blackouts and closed dates — block holidays, one-off closures, or specific time windows so slots are never offered via SlotBlackouts and pickup/date_available, pickup/slot_available, pickup/blocked_dates. Configure under WooCommerce → Pickup blackouts.
  • Per-slot pricing — charge a fee or offer a discount for specific pickup slots via SlotPricing and the free pickup/slot_fee filter. Rules appear at checkout as a WooCommerce fee line.
  • Calendar export — download booked pickups as an iCalendar (.ics) file per location via PickupCalendarExporter. Export under WooCommerce → Pickup calendar.

The free plugin provides the location chooser, slot picker, capacity, lead time and booking horizon at checkout, plus the pickup/slot_fee filter for PRO pricing. PRO adds per-location capacity overrides, blackout windows, per-slot pricing and calendar export.
