Anonco Pro

Anonco Pro is the premium edition for Anonco. It is an add-on that requires the free Anonco plugin installed and active; it is distributed through Freemius (licensing, activation and automatic updates), not the WordPress.org directory.

Anonco Pro extends the free store-wide announcement bar. It does not work on its own. If the free plugin is missing, deactivated, or older than the required version, Anonco Pro stays dormant and shows an admin notice instead of booting.

Shipping PRO features

Anonco Pro is feature-complete at click and impression analytics, page, role, geo and device targeting, multiple bars and A/B testing.

  • Call-to-action analytics, aggregate daily click counts for bar CTAs and message links under WooCommerce > Announcement Analytics. No personal data, no custom table (ClickTracker, ClickAnalytics).
  • Impression analytics, per-bar view and dismissal counts when bars become visible or are dismissed, with a per-bar breakdown on the same screen (ImpressionTracker).
  • Page targeting, show bars on every page, shop catalog, single product pages, or cart and checkout only via notice/bar_active (PageTargeting).
  • Role targeting, show bars to everyone, guests only, logged-in customers only, or selected roles on WooCommerce > Announcement Analytics (RoleTargeting).
  • Geo and device targeting, allow or deny countries by ISO code and limit bars to mobile or desktop visitors via notice/bar_active (GeoDeviceTargeting + VisitorContext). Uses Cloudflare country headers or WooCommerce geolocation when available.
  • Multiple bars, run up to five announcement bars at once, each with its own message, colours, CTA, dismissal and optional schedule under WooCommerce > Announcement Bars via notice/bars (MultipleBars).
  • A/B testing, split-test variant B message and CTA against the control on any PRO bar. Visitors are sticky-assigned via cookie; analytics compare views, clicks and CTR per variant (AbTesting).

Relationship with Anonco

The free plugin provides a dismissible store-wide announcement bar. PRO adds click and impression analytics, page, role, geo and device targeting, multiple bars and A/B testing. No further PRO wedges are planned beyond this release.
