Tabby Pro

Tabby Pro is the premium edition for Tabby. It is an add-on that requires the free Tabby plugin installed and active; it is distributed through Freemius (licensing, activation and automatic updates), not the WordPress.org directory.

Tabby Pro extends the free product tab engine. It does not work on its own. If the free plugin is missing, deactivated, or older than the required version, Tabby Pro stays dormant and shows an admin notice instead of booting.

Shipping PRO features

  • Category rules, scope each global tab to selected product categories under WooCommerce → Tabby Tabs → Category Rules. Tabs with no categories selected still show everywhere (the free default). Implemented on tabby/resolved_tabs via CategoryTabs.
  • Tab order and icons, set a numeric sort order and optional dashicon (or short emoji) per global tab under WooCommerce → Tabby Tabs → Tab Order & Icons. TabPresentation reorders resolved tabs and injects icons into the WooCommerce tab strip.
  • Conditional display, show or hide tabs by stock status or user role via ConditionalDisplay on tabby/resolved_tabs. Configure under WooCommerce → Tabby Tabs → Conditional display.
  • Rich tab content, run tab bodies through the WordPress shortcode and block pipeline via RichTabContent and tabby/use_rich_tab_content. Configure under WooCommerce → Tabby Tabs → Rich Content.

Requirements

  • The free Tabby plugin, version 0.1.0 or later, installed and active

Relationship with Tabby

The free plugin provides reusable global tabs and per-product tabs with safe HTML on product pages. PRO adds category rules, custom tab order, dashicon labels, conditional display and rich tab content.
