Enquire

Product enquiries straight to your inbox

Enquire adds an accessible Ask a question button to the WooCommerce product page. A shopper opens a simple dialog (name, email, message) and the enquiry is emailed to you with the product name and link, so you answer pre-sale questions and close more sales. Nothing is stored in your database.

Pre-sale questions block the purchase

A shopper has one question before buying, but the product page gives them no way to ask it. Instead of writing in, they leave the store, and the sale leaves with them.

  • No simple way to ask about a product
  • Shoppers abandon a purchase over a single question
  • Contact forms do not know which product is meant
  • Heavy form plugins slow the store down

Enquire lets shoppers ask straight from the product page

  • An accessible Ask a question button on the product page
  • A dialog form built on the native dialog element
  • An enquiry email with the product name and link, shopper address as Reply-To
  • Spam protection without a CAPTCHA

Frequently asked questions

Does it require WooCommerce?

Yes, Enquire requires an active WooCommerce installation. The Ask a question button appears on the single product page, right after the add-to-cart form. The plugin reads WooCommerce product data to include the product name and link in each enquiry.

Where are enquiries stored?

In the free version, enquiries are not stored anywhere. Each submission is emailed via wp_mail and never written to your database. If you need an enquiry log in wp-admin, the Enquire Pro add-on provides one.

Where do enquiries get sent?

Enquiries go to the recipient address you set under WooCommerce → Enquire. If you leave that field empty, the site's admin email is used instead. The shopper's email is set as Reply-To, so you can answer directly from your inbox.

How is spam handled?

Enquire uses three safeguards and no CAPTCHA. Each submission is verified with a nonce and screened with a hidden honeypot field that only bots fill in. On top of that, a single visitor can send at most one enquiry every 30 seconds.

Can I reply straight from my inbox?

Yes. The shopper's email address is set as the Reply-To header on the message you receive. That lets you answer directly from your mail client without logging into wp-admin. The email also includes the product name and link, so you know exactly what the question is about.

Will the form slow my store down?

It shouldn't. Enquire's small CSS and JS files load only on product pages, not across the whole site. The form is built on the browser's native dialog element, so it adds no heavy libraries.

How does Enquire compare to Product Enquiry Pro and Addify Product Enquiry?

Enquire adds an accessible ask-a-question button with email delivery, spam protection, and configurable fields for free, and gates the enquiry log, automatic replies, and file attachments to its paid edition from €29/yr. Product Enquiry Pro by WisdmLabs is a freemium product from $49/yr that centres on enquiry management, while Addify Product Enquiry offers a free core with a premium upgrade. All three are WooCommerce compatible and built on GPL cores. Pricing as of June 2026.
