Terms and conditions
Terms for using plogins.com, free plugins, PRO plugins, updates and support.
Last updated:
Free plugins
Free plugins are distributed under the GPL through WordPress.org or GitHub. They are complete products, not time-limited trials.
PRO purchases
PRO plugins are sold through Freemius. Checkout, billing, invoices, renewals, taxes and licence delivery are handled by Freemius unless stated otherwise on the product page.
Support and updates
An active PRO licence gives access to updates and product support for the covered site count. Support does not include custom development, theme work or third-party plugin fixes.
No warranty
The plugins and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the software is fit for a particular purpose, merchantable, uninterrupted, error-free or secure. Free plugins are licensed under the GPL, which itself disclaims any warranty.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from the installation or use of the plugins, including data loss, downtime, lost profit or security incidents. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
Your responsibility: test on staging first
You install and use the plugins at your own risk and sole responsibility. Before any installation or update on a production store, you must first install and fully test the plugin on a local copy of your site or on a staging environment identical to production, and keep a current backup. Installing or updating directly on a production site without a prior staging test is entirely at your own risk.
Security and vulnerabilities
No software is guaranteed to be free of vulnerabilities. You are responsible for backups, timely updates, security hardening and monitoring of your own site. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for vulnerabilities in the software, for their exploitation, or for any resulting damage.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. The competent courts are those for the operator's registered seat, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where a consumer resides.
Acceptance and changes
By using this website and the plugins you accept these terms. We may update them; the version in force is the one published here at the time of your use. Material changes take effect for future use of the site and products.
PRO licence term
A PRO licence is sold for a fixed term, normally twelve months, and entitles you to updates and support for that term on the number of sites in your plan. When the term ends the plugin keeps working and you keep the GPL rights to the code you already have; what stops is the entitlement to further updates and to support. Renewing restores it. We do not disable or degrade software you have installed when a licence lapses.
