Current subprocessors

Cloudflare, Inc. provides hosting, CDN, DNS and the Turnstile anti-abuse check, and processes request metadata and server logs. Freemius, Inc. provides PRO checkout, licensing and the customer account, and processes account email, licence and payment status; card data stays with its payment partners. GitHub, Inc. hosts our source repositories and the public issue trackers that are the primary support channel, and processes whatever a reporter chooses to publish there. WordPress.org, operated by the WordPress Foundation, distributes the free editions and hosts their support forums. Smarthost sp. z o.o., Czestochowa, Poland, hosts our mailboxes and handles email correspondence, including anything you send us by email. Cloudflare serves the website only and does not carry our mail.

Where they process

Smarthost sp. z o.o. is established in Poland and hosts our mail inside the European Economic Area, so email you send us does not leave it. Cloudflare, Freemius, GitHub and the WordPress Foundation are established in the United States and may process data there or in other locations. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, together with each provider's supplementary measures. We do not use a subprocessor that refuses to enter into a data processing agreement.

Changes and objection

We announce a new or replaced subprocessor on this page before it starts processing. A controller who has a data processing agreement with us may object on reasonable data protection grounds; write to [email protected] and we will either address the concern or let you terminate the affected service without penalty.
