WooCommerce Omnibus Directive Readiness Check

Check whether your store correctly tracks and displays the 30-day prior lowest price on discounted products under Directive (EU) 2019/2161.

1. Does your store automatically record the lowest selling price over the preceding 30 days before each price drop?

Tracking must record actual past selling prices, not just catalog list prices.

2. Is the prior lowest price shown alongside every promotional price, crossed-out price, or sale badge?

Shoppers must see the reference price directly on the product card and detail page.

3. Is the previous price clearly labeled without misleading wording?

Use clear phrases such as Lowest price in 30 days prior to discount.

4. Does the 30-day lowest price logic apply to each product variation separately?

Discounted variants need their own independent 30-day price baselines.

5. When discounts are deepened gradually, is the baseline calculated from the price before the first reduction?

Progressive sales campaigns must maintain the original pre-campaign baseline.

6. Have you confirmed which price announcements (volume tiers, personal coupons) are subject to Omnibus rules?

General public announcements are covered, while individual private codes may have different rules.
