Assess whether your product listings display required manufacturer, EU responsible person, and safety information under Regulation (EU) 2023/988.

1. Do product pages display the manufacturer name, registered trade name, and postal or electronic contact details?

Shoppers must be able to identify and contact the physical manufacturer.

2. For non-EU manufactured goods, is the name and postal or electronic contact of the EU responsible economic operator shown?

An EU economic operator must be identified when the maker is outside the EU.

3. Does every listing provide clear product identifiers (such as SKU, barcode, model, or batch number) with photos?

Clear identifiers enable customers and authorities to verify product identity.

4. Are safety warnings and usage instructions accessible in the language of the target market before purchase?

Essential safety information must be readable before the checkout decision.

5. Can you identify your suppliers and downstream distributors for at least 10 years for safety recalls?

Documenting supply chain links is required under GPSR recall protocols.

6. Is there a designated contact channel for consumer safety inquiries and market surveillance authorities?

A clear communication channel is required for reporting unsafe products.
