Durabix adds a text reminder of the legal guarantee of conformity, a note on the producer durability guarantee and a repairability class badge to WooCommerce product pages. In the product editor it lists green claim phrases to review.

Directive 2024/825 changes the product page
Before a distance contract the customer gets a reminder of the legal guarantee of conformity, and where the producer offers a longer durability guarantee, the information about it. WooCommerce has no fields for this and no place on the product page.

Legal guarantee reminder
Text: a legal guarantee of conformity from the seller, free of charge, for at least 2 years, and national law may provide a longer period. You set the years from 2 to 10. The text is translatable through WordPress.org language packs.
Producer durability guarantee
Enter the years and the producer. The note shows when the guarantee lasts more than two years; a value of 2 or less is not saved.
Repairability class
The class from A to E on a smartphone or tablet label, shown as a colour-coded badge. Leave the field empty for other products.
Green claims phrase check
A box in the product editor reads the title, descriptions, attribute values and up to 100 variation descriptions. It lists phrases such as "climate neutral" or "eco-friendly" in English, Polish, German and Spanish.
Under the summary or in a tab
By default under the product summary, near the price and the add to cart button. The settings move everything into a Guarantee & Durability tab.
Per-product hide switch
A checkbox on the product hides the reminder, for example on a download or a service. It is not set automatically.
Live in three steps
After activation the reminder is already on and the product fields wait for data.
Install
Activate Durabix with WooCommerce 8.0 or newer active.
Configure
Optional: in WooCommerce > EU Legal Guarantee, change the years, the placement or the custom reminder text.
Fill in products
On the product, in the General tab, enter the durability guarantee and the repairability class, and review green claims in the side box.

When you sell goods to consumers in the EU and want this information next to the product.
Electronics shops
Smartphones and tablets carry a repairability class from A to E on their label. Durabix shows it as a badge next to the producer durability guarantee.

Frequently asked questions
When do the new rules apply?
Directive (EU) 2024/825, art. 4(1): Member States apply the transposing measures from 27 September 2026. In Poland the transposing act, Dz.U. 2026 poz. 1353, enters into force on 27 September 2027 (art. 3).
Is this the harmonised notice?
No. Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 6(1)(l), requires a reminder of the legal guarantee of conformity, including its minimum duration of two years, using the harmonised notice of Article 22a. Its design and content are set by Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960, art. 1 and Annex I, which applies from 27 September 2026 (art. 3). Durabix shows its own text, not that notice.
What about the durability guarantee?
Under art. 6(1)(la) of Directive 2011/83/EU, where the producer offers a commercial guarantee of durability at no additional cost, covering the entire good and lasting more than two years, and tells the trader, the customer gets that information using the harmonised label. Its design is set by art. 2 and Annex II of Regulation 2025/1960. Durabix shows a text note, not that label.
Does it cover digital content and services?
No. Art. 6(1)(lb) of Directive 2011/83/EU requires a separate reminder of the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and digital services, which Durabix does not show. Hide the reminder on such products with the checkbox.
Does the phrase check protect against greenwashing penalties?
No. Point 4a of Annex I to Directive 2005/29/EC, added by Directive 2024/825, bans a generic environmental claim without recognised excellent environmental performance, and point 4c bans claims of a neutral, reduced or positive greenhouse gas impact based on offsetting. Durabix lists a short set of phrases for you to review. A match is not a finding of a breach, and no match does not mean the page complies.
Which repairability class do I enter?
The class on the label of a smartphone or slate tablet under Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1669: from A (most repairable) to E. Art. 1 excludes phones and tablets with a main display the user can roll up or unroll, and smartphones for high security communication. Leave the field empty for other products. Durabix shows the letter as a badge, not the label.
Does it work with product variations?
You enter the data once per product and it is shown for all its variations. There are no per-variation fields. The phrase check reads up to 100 variation descriptions.
Where are the product fields?
In the General tab of the classic product editor. The block-based product editor is not supported.
How does Durabix compare to Trusted Shops and WooCommerce Warranty?
Durabix is a 100% free, self-hosted plugin dedicated to EU statutory guarantee compliance (Directive 2019/771), commercial guarantee transparency (Directive 2024/825), and repairability scores (Directive 2024/1799) without third-party trackers or monthly subscriptions. Trusted Shops requires expensive monthly plans and loads external scripts, while WooCommerce Warranty plugins focus on handling RMA tickets rather than statutory consumer transparency.
