Changelog Dankon Pro

Changelog for the available Dankon Pro WooCommerce plugin: updates, fixes and feature development.

v1.0.14
  • The plugin now declares the free plugin under its wordpress.org slug, dankon. It named "tipping", which no installed plugin carries, so WordPress refused to activate it next to Dankon.
v1.0.13
  • The plugin description, the readme and the admin strings still named the free plugin by its old name in places the rename missed. They now all read Dankon.
  • The Polish translation is complete again. Regenerating the template exposed strings that had never been translated, because the old template did not contain them at all.
v1.0.12
  • Renamed to Dankon Pro. The free plugin it extends was renamed to Dankon for the WordPress.org directory, which asks a plugin name to lead with a distinctive coined word rather than a generic one, and the paid add-on now carries the same name. The text domain, the stored options and every hook are unchanged, so nothing on an existing install moves.
v1.0.11
  • Fixed: the Tip Reports walk was bounded on the legacy post storage only. On HPOS, the default order storage, wc_get_orders() returns its orders through WC_Order_Factory::get_orders(), which puts every order it reads into WooCommerce's own order cache and keeps it there for the rest of the request, so releasing the batch freed nothing and the whole range was in memory again. Each batch is now taken back out of that cache as it is finished: measured over the same 5,000 order range, 101 order objects are alive at the peak on HPOS too, against 5,000 before.
v1.0.10
  • Fixed: the Tip Reports screen loaded every tipped order the shop had ever taken, as a full order object, before it showed a single figure, and it did that whenever the screen was opened with no date filter set. It now reads the order IDs first and walks them 100 at a time: measured over a 5,000 order range on the legacy post storage, 101 order objects are alive at once (one batch, plus the row being read) instead of 5,000. On HPOS it stayed unbounded until 1.0.11. The figures are unchanged: the totals, the by-date, by-preset and by-recipient breakdowns and all 5,000 CSV rows were checked against the same 5,000 orders, counted independently of the report.
  • Changed: the report opens on the last 30 days instead of on all time. The date fields show the range in use, so it is one edit to widen it, and the CSV export covers the range shown on screen.
v1.0.9
  • Fixed: arrow glyphs in the admin menu paths, and in the strings handed to translators. An arrow inside a translatable string makes the glyph every translator's problem and changes the layout in any locale that drops it.
v1.0.8
  • Housekeeping: post-purchase tip orders no longer store a `_tipping_source` marker. Nothing ever read it, and the parent-order link stored beside it already identifies a post-purchase tip, so the extra row was one more thing in your database for no benefit. Existing orders keep the value they were given; nothing depends on it either way.
v1.0.7
  • The translation template was regenerated. 54 strings added to the plugin since the template was last built were missing from it, so no translator could reach them in any language, and 3 strings the plugin no longer uses have been dropped. Nothing you see changes; what a translator can see does.
v1.0.6
  • Fixed: the plugin title label on Freemius notices rendered white on a background measuring 2.37:1, where WCAG AA wants 4.5:1 for text that size. The label now uses the same grey WordPress core uses, at 4.61:1.
  • Fixed: the public key constant was defined inside the guard for the product id constant, so it would have gone undefined if anything had defined the id first. Harmless today, wrong the moment it is not.
v1.0.5
  • Fix: the tip goal progress bar stayed frozen at its starting value. The service that records raised totals was never registered, so no paid tip was ever added to the goal. It now registers and counts tipped orders when they reach Processing or Completed.
v1.0.4
  • Fix: deleting the plugin now removes its options and transients instead of leaving them in the database, on every site of a network. The free plugin's own settings are untouched.
v1.0.2
  • Added bundled Polish, German and Spanish translations for the plugin interface.
v1.0.1
  • First stable release.
v0.4.2
  • Plugin Check: escaping/sanitisation/i18n/hygiene fixes.
v0.4.1
  • Renamed the plugin slug to `plogins-tipping-pro` for consistency across the Plogins family. No functional changes.
v0.4.0
  • Post-purchase tipping on the order thank-you page (`PostPurchaseTipping`, `PostPurchaseTipOrder`) with separate pending tip orders and payment redirect.
  • Requires Tipping 0.1.2 or later.
v0.3.0
  • Recipient splitting: admin recipient list, checkout dropdown, `tipping/recipients` and `tipping/control_before_options` integration (`RecipientSplitting`).
  • Tip reports: aggregate tips by date, preset and recipient with CSV export (`TipReports`, `TipReportQuery`).
  • Requires Tipping 0.1.1 or later.
v0.2.0
  • Tip goal progress bar on checkout (`TipGoalBar`, `TipGoalProgress`) with configurable target and message tokens.
v0.1.0
  • Initial release: round-up tipping (`RoundUp`).
