Changelog Shortlist Pro

Changelog for the available Shortlist Pro WooCommerce plugin: updates, fixes and feature development.

v1.0.17
  • Lists a guest made move to the account on sign-in, registration included, and no longer answer to the guest cookie that stays in the browser after logout. The account used to lose them and the next person at that browser saw them.
v1.0.16
  • Display name drops the "Plogins " prefix; the slug, text domain and option keys are unchanged.
v1.0.15
  • Fixed: re-submitting the price-alert opt-in form reset the subscription date. Every re-submit wrote the current time over `created_at` for each product on the list, and `created_at` is what the WordPress personal-data exporter reports back to the shopper as "Subscribed At". A shopper who subscribed in March and re-opened the form in September was told, in an export they are entitled to, that they had subscribed in September. The first subscription date is now kept as it was; only `last_checked_at` moves on a re-submit.
v1.0.14
  • Fixed: PRO shipped a second copy of the free plugin's wishlist engine. `wppoland/storefront-kit` was a Composer dependency here as well as bundled in the free plugin, under the same class names, and PRO ships its `vendor/` while the free WordPress.org package does not. Composer registers its autoloader ahead of the free plugin's fallback, so on every paying site the class that ran was PRO's copy, frozen at the kit version pinned in this plugin's lock file (v1.6.2, 28 July 2026). Two consequences: the wishlist count kept loading every saved product to count them, which free 1.0.16 replaced with a single COUNT query, and free 1.0.12 onwards passes `shortcodeTag` and `blockName` to a constructor PRO's copy does not have, which raises "Unknown named parameter $shortcodeTag" and takes the site down. PRO no longer depends on the kit or maps its namespace; the classes come from the free plugin, which is why this release requires free 1.0.16 or later and shows the usual notice if the free plugin is older.
v1.0.13
  • Fixed: re-submitting the price-alert opt-in form could cancel a back-in-stock email the shopper was still owed. The form covers the whole list, so every re-submit rewrote `watch_stock` for each product on it from that product's stock status at that moment. A product subscribed to while it was out of stock, which had since come back in stock but had not yet been reached by the hourly batch, was written back to 0 and its email was never sent. A re-submit can now only arm a stock watch, never clear one: `watch_stock` is raised when the product is out of stock at submit time, and cleared only by the cron, after the back-in-stock email has actually gone out. This narrows the note added in 1.0.12: a re-submit still re-reads the price into `baseline_price` and still re-reads stock state, but the stock read can now only turn a watch on.
v1.0.12
  • Fixed: the 1.0.11 note claimed the dead `notified` column was gone from the table. It is gone from the CREATE TABLE and from the insert, but dbDelta adds and changes columns and never drops one, so on a shop that already ran an earlier version the column is still in the table with its default. Nothing reads it and nothing writes it any more, and only a new install starts without it. The note now says that.
  • Note: since 1.0.11 the hourly queue is ordered by `last_checked_at`, and re-submitting the price-alert opt-in form for a list you already watch writes that column too, so those rows go to the back of the queue. That is deliberate, not a side effect: the same re-submit reads each product's current price into `baseline_price` and re-reads its stock state, so the row has nothing left to compare against until the price moves again. On a shop carrying more live subscriptions than the 200-row batch, such a row waits for the queue to come round to it again.
v1.0.11
  • Fixed: the hourly alert sweep only ever looked at the same 200 subscriptions. It selected on a `notified` column that nothing in the plugin ever wrote, ordered by row id, and took the first 200, so on a shop with more than 200 live subscriptions every alert beyond that was never checked and no error said so. The sweep now takes the 200 least recently checked subscriptions and stamps each one as it goes, so the window moves and every subscription comes up in turn. The dead `notified` column is gone from the schema the plugin creates and from the insert, and a price drop or restock on a subscription that used to be out of reach will now produce the email it always promised.
v1.0.10
  • Fixed: arrow glyphs in the admin menu paths, and in the strings handed to translators. An arrow inside a translatable string makes the glyph every translator's problem and changes the layout in any locale that drops it.
v1.0.9
  • Fixed: the price-alert sweep was scheduled on activation and cleared nowhere, so the event outlived the plugin and woke on every request to fire a hook nothing listens to.
v1.0.8
  • The translation template was regenerated. 11 strings added to the plugin since the template was last built were missing from it, so no translator could reach them in any language, and 2 strings the plugin no longer uses have been dropped. Nothing you see changes; what a translator can see does.
v1.0.7
  • Fixed: the plugin title label on Freemius notices rendered white on a background measuring 2.37:1, where WCAG AA wants 4.5:1 for text that size. The label now uses the same grey WordPress core uses, at 4.61:1.
  • Fixed: the public key constant was defined inside the guard for the product id constant, so it would have gone undefined if anything had defined the id first. Harmless today, wrong the moment it is not.
v1.0.6
  • Fix: uninstall now removes what the plugin created. It deletes the PRO options and drops the four `shortlist_pro_*` tables, which used to survive a delete, and on multisite it cleans every site in the network. Tables belonging to the free plugin are left alone. The cleanup runs through the Freemius `after_uninstall` hook, and the `shortlist-pro/uninstall/delete_data` filter can keep the data instead.
