Changelog Pair

Changelog for the available Pair WooCommerce plugin: updates, fixes and feature development.

v1.1.7
  • Fixed: the "Recently viewed" block, its shortcode and its Elementor widget were topped up with the newest products, so a first-time visitor saw a "Recently viewed" row of products they had never opened. The block now lists only viewed products and stays hidden when there are none. Recommendation blocks keep their fallback.
v1.1.6
  • The upgrade notice's "Coming soon" and "Get notified" labels are English source strings for every language; Polish sites used to get their own Polish source text, which translators in other languages then saw untranslated.
v1.1.5
  • The sidebar upgrade promo now follows the same dismissal as the banner. Dismissing the banner used to leave a full-height advert on the settings screen for good, which is not what the WordPress.org guideline on upgrade prompts means by used with moderation.
v1.1.4
  • Fixed: the PRO upgrade promo kept selling to people who had already bought the paid edition. Only the banner could be dismissed, so the sidebar promo and the locked feature cards followed a paying customer around for good. The promo now checks whether the paid edition is active and steps aside when it is.
  • Fixed: the settings screen offered "get notified" instead of a buy button. Pair PRO has been on sale at 29 EUR since early September; the generated upsell config still carried the coming-soon flag from before that, and so did the comment describing it.
v1.1.3
  • Fixed: deleting the plugin left the per-user "dismiss" flag from the PRO notice in the database. Uninstall now removes it for every user, not just the one who dismissed it.
v1.1.2
  • Fixed: the three storefront headings were frozen into the database in whichever language the admin happened to be using when the plugin was activated, and never changed again. They were translation calls inside a config file whose result is stored at activation, so a shop activated in English showed English headings to its customers however complete its language pack was, and switching the site language did nothing.
  • The headings are now resolved when they are rendered and never written back to the option. A heading you typed yourself is still used exactly as typed, and the settings fields show the default as a placeholder.
  • On update, a heading left byte for byte as the old English default is cleared so the translated one takes over. Anything you edited is matched exactly and kept.
v1.1.1
  • Added a "Plogins Pair PRO" section to this page, with a free-versus-PRO grid. Every row was checked against the add-on's source, not its marketing copy.
  • The WordPress.org banner was redrawn. The old one was laid out taller than the 772x250 canvas it is cropped to, so the second feature line and the screenshot were sliced off at the edges.
v1.1.0
  • Added: Elementor widgets for the recommendations block and the recently-viewed row, so both can be placed anywhere in an Elementor layout instead of only at their hooked positions. Elementor is optional; nothing loads without it.
  • Added: the `pair/recommendations` filter, so an add-on can curate or reorder the picks before they render.
v1.0.9
  • Plugin Check: stop passing `exclude` into `wc_get_products()`. Seed and cart products are still omitted; they are dropped after the query instead.
v1.0.8
  • Tested against WordPress 7.1. Verified by activating this build on a clean 7.1 install with WooCommerce 11.1, not by editing the header.
v1.0.7
  • Fixed the PRO promo on the settings screen quoting a price in PLN. PRO is priced and charged in EUR, so an admin on a Polish site was shown a zloty amount and then billed in euro, and the zloty figure was a fixed conversion that drifted from the real charge as the rate moved. The promo now shows the euro price that is actually taken.
v1.0.6
  • The settings screen now tells you when your cart page is built with the WooCommerce Cart block. The cart cross-sell and recently viewed placements need the classic cart, so instead of ticking a box and getting nothing on the front end, you see a note with the shortcode that does work on a block cart page.
v1.0.5
  • The PRO notice in the admin now lists what Pair PRO actually ships. It had been stuck on the first four features while PRO grew to nine, so it never mentioned the bundle discount, manual curation, category rules, A/B testing or the analytics screen.
v1.0.3
  • Translations: completed Polish, German and Spanish for the PRO upgrade panel.
v1.0.2
  • Added bundled Polish, German and Spanish translations for the plugin interface.
v1.0.1
  • First stable release.
v0.1.0
  • Initial release: automatic product-page, cart and recently-viewed blocks; five selectable strategies with a recent-products fallback; configurable count, columns, headings and in-stock filter; [pair_recommendations] and [pair_recently_viewed] shortcodes; sectioned settings screen with inline help.
