Folio turns what is already in your shop into something you can print: a sheet for one product, a catalog of a whole category, or a compact price list with no images. Every document opens in its own page styled for print, and your browser saves it as a PDF.

Trade fairs, wholesale buyers, a warehouse with no screen: everyone wants a catalog or a price list on paper. The data is in the shop, but copying it into a spreadsheet produces a document that is out of date the next day.

Product sheet
One product per page: image, price, description, attributes, categories, availability, dimensions and weight, each one optional.
Catalog
Every product in a category or in the whole shop, printed in one to four columns.
Price list
SKU, name, GTIN, availability and price in a table, with the column headings repeated on every page.
Prices as the customer sees them
The price comes from WooCommerce for whoever opened the document, so sales, tax display and any plugin that changes prices are all reflected.
PDF from the browser
The print button opens the browser's dialog, where you choose Save as PDF. The text is selectable and images print at the printer's resolution.
Large catalogs in parts
Past 200 products a document splits into parts with a link to the next, and the footer says how many products it holds.
Links where you need them
Buttons on product pages and on shop and category pages, a Print row action on the products list, and the [folio_print] shortcode.
Header and footer
Logo, shop name, print date and your own footer note, such as how long the prices are valid.
Your own wording
Change the document titles and column headings in the settings; an empty field falls back to the translated default.
Respects visibility
A private, password-protected or hidden product will not print for someone who cannot already see it.

This plugin is maintained. We have announced no end-of-support date, and when we do it will say so here and in a release.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I get an actual PDF file?
Open a document, use your browser's print dialog and choose Save as PDF as the destination. Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all offer it.
Can it generate PDF files automatically, without opening a page?
No. A file made with nobody at the keyboard needs a PDF engine on your server, and Folio deliberately does not carry one.
Can I print only some products?
Yes, printing from a category page gives you that category. Attribute and price filters are not carried over. The [folio_print] shortcode places a link anywhere.
Can customers print, or only me?
Anyone who can see a product can print it. The documents show public catalog data, and a private, password-protected or hidden product is refused.
Does it work with my page cache?
The document is never cached, because prices can differ from one customer to the next.
Does it require WooCommerce?
Yes. Folio prints WooCommerce products, with their prices and images.
