Bump

Checkout order bump in one click

Bump adds a single, high-visibility order-bump offer above the payment methods on the classic WooCommerce checkout. The shopper ticks a checkbox, your chosen product joins the order, and WooCommerce recalculates every total before payment.

Upselling at the checkout is hard

The best moment to upsell is right before payment, but the classic WooCommerce checkout has no built-in spot for a one-click offer there. Plugins that add one often compute their own totals and surprise the gateway with a different amount.

  • No native place for an order bump at checkout
  • Custom totals drift from the amount sent to the gateway
  • Extra scripts slow the checkout down
  • Risk of confusing the bump with a copy the shopper added

Bump uses WooCommerce's own cart

  • Adds the product through the native cart and update_checkout
  • WooCommerce recalculates every total before payment
  • Unticking removes it just as fast
  • The bump line is tagged privately, so it never mixes with the shopper's own item

What you get in the free version

One checkout order bump, built on WooCommerce's native recalculation.

One offer, one checkbox

The order bump shows above the payment methods on the classic checkout. A single click adds the product.

Any simple product

Choose any simple, purchasable product from your catalogue as the bump.

Optional special price

Set a separate price for the bump line only, or leave the product's normal price.

Native recalculation

Bump uses the WooCommerce cart and update_checkout, so the amount sent to the gateway is already correct.

HPOS compatible

Works with High-Performance Order Storage; styles are scoped to the bump block.

No layout shift

The block has a stable layout and does not push the checkout around as it loads.

Live in three steps

After activation, just pick a product and turn the offer on.

01

02

Pick the product

Go to WooCommerce → Bump, choose the bump product and write the heading and description.

Frequently asked questions

Does Bump require WooCommerce?

Yes. Bump runs on the WooCommerce checkout and shows nothing if WooCommerce is not active.

Where does the offer appear?

Above the payment methods on the classic (shortcode) WooCommerce checkout.

Is the amount sent to the gateway correct?

Yes. Bump adds the product through the native WooCommerce cart and triggers update_checkout, so WooCommerce recalculates every total before payment. We never compute our own amounts.

Can I set a different price for the bump?

Yes. You can enter an optional special price for the bump line only; leaving it empty uses the product's normal price.

What happens when it is unticked?

The bump product is removed from the order immediately and the totals recalculate.

Does Bump work with the block checkout?

Bump renders on the classic, shortcode-based checkout. The newer block checkout is not supported.
