The read-only abilities are now flagged read-only where the Abilities API looks for it (meta.annotations), so they are called with GET as the API expects; GET used to return 405 and only POST worked.

Fixed: arrow glyphs in the admin menu paths, and in the strings handed to translators. An arrow inside a translatable string makes the glyph every translator's problem and changes the layout in any locale that drops it.

Registry Pro could never start. Registry finished loading without announcing it, so the paid add-on sat waiting for a signal that was never sent and none of its features (owner notifications, multiple registries per customer, group gifting) ever appeared. Registry now announces the end of its own boot, which is what Registry Pro listens for.
The translation template was regenerated. It still named an older version of the plugin and pointed at source lines that had since moved, which is what translation tools read to show a string in context.

Renamed to Registry - Gift Registry for WooCommerce so the name leads with the brand rather than a generic word, which is what the WordPress.org plugin review team asks for. The plugin slug is unchanged.

An AI assistant working in your wp-admin can now read gift registries for you, through the WordPress Abilities API (WordPress 6.9 and later). Ask what is still unbought on a registry and the answer comes from the real list: what was wanted, how many guests have already bought, and how many are still needed.
Reading only. Nothing an assistant can call adds an item, changes a wanted quantity or removes anything, and registries are identified by customer id rather than by name or email. Only shop managers can use these, and on WordPress 6.8 and earlier nothing changes.

Gifts with options, such as a variable product with a size or colour, now show "Choose options" and open the product page, instead of a "Buy this gift" button that added nothing to the cart.
The registry is remembered while the guest picks those options, so the gift is counted as bought once the order is paid.
