Changelog Abono

Changelog für das geplanten WooCommerce-Plugin Abono: Updates, Korrekturen und Funktionsentwicklung.

v1.1.4
  • Security (low): the Subscribers screens now need the Manage WooCommerce permission, the same one the Export already asked for. Before, any Editor could open the Subscribers list under the WooCommerce menu and read every subscriber's email address.
v1.1.3
  • The upgrade notice's "Coming soon" and "Get notified" labels are English source strings for every language; Polish sites used to get their own Polish source text, which translators in other languages then saw untranslated.
v1.1.2
  • The checkout opt-in now carries its own security token, and the box is only read when that token checks out. An expired checkout page asks the shopper to reload instead of recording the opt-in.
  • The live preview on the settings screen loads as an enqueued script instead of an inline one.
v1.1.1
  • The sidebar upgrade promo now follows the same dismissal as the banner. Dismissing the banner used to leave a full-height advert on the settings screen for good, which is not what the WordPress.org guideline on upgrade prompts means by used with moderation.
v1.1.0
  • Renamed to Abono. The WordPress.org review team asks a plugin name to lead with a distinctive, coined identifier rather than a generic descriptive word. Abono is Esperanto for a subscription. The text domain follows the name; the stored subscribers, the consent records, the settings and every hook are unchanged.
v1.0.12
  • Fixed: the CSV export built the whole file in memory before sending a byte of it. The subscriber list was read into one array, turned into a second array of finished lines and then joined into a single string, so a shop with 20,000 subscribers held 13.6 MB of PHP memory for a 1.35 MB file, and a longer list met the memory limit as a blank page with no download. Rows are now written out as they are read, which holds 842 KB for the same list, most of that the ID list the export reads in one go on purpose. The file is byte for byte the one the old code produced.
  • Fixed: the export read each subscriber's consent record one at a time, one database query per subscriber. It now loads them 200 at a time and drops each batch again afterwards, so the same 20,000 subscribers took 100 reads instead of 20,000 and the object cache no longer grows by an entry per subscriber for the length of the download.
v1.0.11
  • Fixed: the PRO upgrade promo kept selling to people who had already bought the paid edition. Only the banner could be dismissed, so the sidebar promo and the locked feature cards followed a paying customer around for good. The promo now checks whether the paid edition is active and steps aside when it is.
  • Fixed: a custom subscriber field whose key contained a hyphen was silently discarded. The field appeared at checkout and could even be required, so the customer had to fill it in, and the value was then thrown away with no error: the subscriber record and the CSV export were empty for that column forever. Keys with only letters, digits and underscores were unaffected, which made the loss look random.
v1.0.10
  • Fixed: deleting the plugin left the per-user "dismiss" flag from the PRO notice in the database. Uninstall now removes it for every user, not just the one who dismissed it.
v1.0.9
  • The translation template was regenerated. It still named an older version of the plugin and pointed at source lines that had since moved, which is what translation tools read to show a string in context.
v1.0.8
  • Renamed to Plogins Subscribe - Newsletter Signup for WooCommerce so the name leads with the brand rather than a generic word, which is what the WordPress.org plugin review team asks for. The plugin slug is unchanged.
v1.0.7
  • Tested against WordPress 7.1. Verified by activating this build on a clean 7.1 install with WooCommerce 11.1, not by editing the header.
v1.0.6
  • Fixed the PRO promo on the settings screen quoting a price in PLN. PRO is priced and charged in EUR, so an admin on a Polish site was shown a zloty amount and then billed in euro, and the zloty figure was a fixed conversion that drifted from the real charge as the rate moved. The promo now shows the euro price that is actually taken.
v1.0.4
  • Translations: completed Polish, German and Spanish for the PRO upgrade panel.
v1.0.3
  • Accessibility improvements to the admin and storefront markup.
  • Fixed low-contrast admin headings under an OS dark-mode preference.
v1.0.2
  • Added bundled Polish, German and Spanish translations for the plugin interface.
v1.0.1
  • First stable release.
v0.1.3
  • Renamed to Plogins Subscribe for WooCommerce for a more distinctive plugin name.
v0.1.2
  • Adds `subscribe/checkout_after_optin` action for extra checkout fields (e.g. Subscribe Pro custom fields).
  • Adds `subscribe/subscriber_meta` filter for extra subscriber post meta on create.
  • Adds `subscribe/export_headers` and `subscribe/export_row` filters for CSV export extensions.
v0.1.1
  • Adds `subscribe/subscriber_consent_default` and `subscribe/confirm_url` hooks for premium double opt-in flows.
  • Passes the confirmation URL to `subscribe/subscriber_created`.
v0.1.0
  • First release: checkout opt-in checkbox, private subscriber records storing consent, source and date, and CSV export.
