Changelog Elektilo

Changelog für das verfügbaren WooCommerce-Plugin Elektilo: Updates, Korrekturen und Funktionsentwicklung.

v1.1.5
  • The settings screen showed the shortcode as [finder], which prints as plain text. It now shows [elektilo].
  • An answer value with a space or punctuation, such as "home gym", was saved as "homegym" on the step but "home-gym" in the results map, so shoppers who picked it always got the fallback product. Both now use the same value; re-save the settings and regenerate the combinations to repair a quiz built before this version.
  • Arrow keys now move between answers without submitting the step, so every answer can be reached by keyboard. Space, Enter or a click picks the answer, including the one already selected.
  • After Back, clicking the answer you already chose moves on again instead of doing nothing.
  • Backslashes in the title, questions and result texts are kept on save.
  • Removed the unused finder_compare_items table that earlier versions created; uninstall drops it too.
v1.1.4
  • The product picker listed only the first 200 products, so larger stores could not choose the rest. It now searches the whole catalogue as you type, using the same search box as WooCommerce.
v1.1.3
  • The Plugin URI in the header answered 404. The page it names is now published, and the same check was run across every plugin in the family.
v1.1.2
  • Named Elektilo. The WordPress.org review team asks a plugin name to lead with a distinctive, coined identifier rather than a generic descriptive word. Elektilo is Esperanto for a tool that chooses, which is what the quiz does. The text domain follows the name; the stored data, the settings and every hook are unchanged.
  • The shortcode is now `[elektilo]`. It used to be `[finder]`, a tag generic enough that any other plugin could claim it first. This is the last release in which it could change without breaking existing pages, because the plugin has not been published yet.
  • The admin menu reads Elektilo rather than Product Finder, and the places the documentation still said Finder were updated.
v1.0.10
  • Fixed: arrow glyphs in the admin menu paths, and in the strings handed to translators. An arrow inside a translatable string makes the glyph every translator's problem and changes the layout in any locale that drops it.
v1.0.9
  • The short description was 151 characters, one over the limit WordPress.org allows, so the plugin directory cut it off mid-sentence. Shortened by one word; the meaning is unchanged.
v1.0.8
  • The translation template was regenerated. It still named an older version of the plugin and pointed at source lines that had since moved, which is what translation tools read to show a string in context.
v1.0.7
  • Renamed to Plogins Finder - Product Finder Quiz for WooCommerce so the name leads with the brand rather than a generic word, which is what the WordPress.org plugin review team asks for. The plugin slug is unchanged.
v1.0.6
  • Tested against WordPress 7.1. Verified by activating this build on a clean 7.1 install with WooCommerce 11.1, not by editing the header.
v1.0.5
  • Accessibility improvements to the admin and storefront markup.
v1.0.4
  • Fixed: on desktop the page no longer scrolls down to the finder on load (focus now uses preventScroll).
  • Fixed: the URL stays clean on first visit, quiz state (?fa=&fs=) is only written after the visitor answers.
v1.0.3
  • Added an "Open in new tab" option so the recommended product opens in a new browser tab.
v1.0.2
  • First stable release: guided step-by-step product finder quiz with a friendly steps/results admin, REST-powered live recommendation, accessible vanilla-JS front end and zero layout shift. Radio-style option indicators, subtle motion (reduced-motion aware) and a Polish translation.
