Consentry privacy policy

Our role

The merchant who installs Consentry is the data controller. WPPoland operates Consentry as a data processor acting on the merchant's instructions.

What we process

Shopify Customer Events (product views, add to cart, checkout, purchase) and the shopper's consent state. To improve match quality we forward identifiers (such as email and phone) only as SHA-256 hashes, and only to destinations the shopper has consented to.

What we store

An audit log of forwarding decisions: the event type, destination, consent state, a timestamp, and a hashed identifier. We do not store plaintext personal data. All storage runs on Cloudflare infrastructure pinned to the European Union.

Who receives data

When and only when consent is granted, events are sent to Meta (Conversions API) and Google (GA4 Measurement Protocol), using the merchant's own credentials. No data is sent to a destination the shopper declined.

Your rights and deletion

Consentry honors Shopify's GDPR webhooks. A customer data request returns the audit records held for that person; a customer redaction deletes them; a shop redaction deletes all data for the store. Requests are processed automatically.
